Signalis is a third-person science fiction game that immerses the player in a dystopian world where advanced combat tactics, alongside resource farming, may spell the difference between life and death. It offers a deep and immersive backstory, as well as nostalgic retro-themed graphics.

Offering undertones of classic hack-and-slash survival games, such as Resident Evil 3, the overall feel of Signalis can be compared to platforms originally designed for the Sony PlayStation in the early 2000s. However, players will often be required to backtrack during gameplay.
